The outlook for fall grazing in the Great Plains varies by location. Recent rains in both the Northern Plains and Southern Plains may allow for pasture, rangeland or wheat grazing while producers in the Central Plains can utilize crop residues for another forage source.

Pork producers, dairy farmers, corn farmers and grape growers highlighted trade concerns Thursday in an online event led by Farmers for Free Trade. While agricultural exports are at record levels, ag groups want the Biden administration to reengage on the Pacific trade deal once called TPP but now dubbed CPTPP.
December corn is up 3/4 cent per bushel, November soybeans are down 2 cents, and December KC wheat is up 1 1/2 cents.
Live cattle and feeder cattle diverged to end the week. Feeders may have been under pressure over concerns of increasing placements. Live cattle uncovered some buying interest to end the week as cash cattle on Friday traded steady. Hogs rebounded from an oversold market and not because of higher cash or cutouts.
